Hi, my name is Maureen. I live in South Durham .

My prefix, DOUBLOON, was registered in 1981 when I began to breed and show British Shorthair cats concentrating on blue, blue/cream, cream and an occasional sparkling, orange-eyed white. It was, Smiley, my beautiful Heracles, Prim, and all the rest, (as it was so long ago I have no photos suitable to upload) who launched me onto the showing/breeding scene.

I now also breed Silver Tabby and Silver Spotted and the seductive Black British Shorthair.

 

I breed for chunky, tippy kittens of good temperent. My kittens are reared in the home and are part of the family, dog and all.

 

Meet Sophie.

 

Yeah, okay, some of the cats are bigger than her, but she's definitely all dog! And she’s the first to leap to the aid of any cat or kitten she thinks may be in trouble!

Whether they want her to or not!

 

All my kittens are vet checked, vaccinated, wormed and flea’d, before they go to their new home. They are also registered with the GCCF, have six weeks insurance and a gift pack.
